A magical peacock appears in a girl’s dream and promises four fantastic dreams of China’s golden ages of the past. A new version of Nutcracker in China for the year of the Rooster — Dream of the Golden Phoenix — celebrates China’s rich traditional culture in a new fusion of Chinese classical dance and ballet. This performance is 2 hours long with one 15 minute intermission and is appropriate for all ages.
